One of the best parts for me about having a studio space is being able to start thinking about all the set up possibilities we can do. We have been so limited in space doing photos in our tiny living room. There are so many cute picture ideas I’ve seen on Pinterest and props we can buy on Etsy. Naturally, the first thing I wanted to do was shop!
We have so many new things to try out! ordered several hand knitted blankets from Custom Photo Props on Etsy. We purchased several baskets, jersey knit fabrics for waps, and flowers at Hobby Lobby.
We also have props we have been storing for years unable to use. There are buckets, boxes, backdrops, little outfits, etc. I’m sure there is more than we even realize.
I’m also so excited to meet new families and be around all the sweet little babies. Our youngest just turned a year. It’s so bittersweet to see them grow up, but I think I will be getting my baby fix being around all the tiny babies in the studio!
So far we have met two sweet little girls, Bridget and Kinley. In the next two weeks, we will be photographing two newborn boys. I can’t wait to get out the boy props we have and change things up a bit!
